  • Senior Expert in charge of the Nwalimu Nyerere Scholarship Program of the African Union, with an Annual budget of over $1,000,000 and responsible for the management of the grants which is available to all universities in Africa.
  • Senior Expert in Charge of the Africa-India Scholarship Scheme which made available over 300 M.Sc and PhD scholarships to many African students through the African Union Commission. The Scholarship program has an Annual Budget of $1m.
  • Deputy Board Member Norad’s Programme for Masters’ Studies (NOMA) of the Norwegian Centre for International Cooperation in Higher Education (SIU)(2007-2009). A body involved with giving financial support to universities in Africa.
